THE STORY SO FAR…

When you know, you know. You know? One rehearsal in and the members of Sweet Talk thought, “yeah fuck it I’m in”. The 6-piece band from Melbourne originally bonded over a love of late nights, American music, classic song writing and improvised jams. Add to that a penchant for good times and a talent for terrible banter and you’ve got all the right ingredients for some groovy home brew.

As discerning disciples of some of history’s all-time southern, blues, country, gospel, soul and rock bands; Sweet Talk have paid their dues, stitching together a rich tapestry of vintage influence into something altogether their own.

Already renowned for their high-energy live shows - readily whipping unsuspecting punters into frenzied states of boogie and unabashed song at the drop of a hat - Sweet Talk have been journeying across Australia with appearances at Blues On Broadbeach, Queenscliff Music Festival, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Port Fairy Folk Festival and Out On The Weekend along with a host of live rooms, pubs and BBQ’s across cities and states.
